Bass is easy, and when I took a piano class a year ago, it came natural to me. Drums however, are, to me, completely unfathomable. Drummers are a special kind of insane, but in a good way.

I can get around on the drums, guitar, bass and am currently working on familiarity with the banjo and mandolin. I started on piano, but due to lack of practice am now reduced to noodling and playing chords and doing synth things.

I've found that while I accidentally 'discovered' the chords for "Cry Love" on mandolin, I cannot, for the life of me, find myself able to play anything else on it.

Of course I could likely fix that by, y'know, buying one...

I see $99 used mandolins all the time... Need me to ship you one? I mean, if you're looking for something to perform on stage with, you might have certain criterion. The one I have is just an older Epiphone model, nothing fancy but it sounds fine and I can learn to play on it. Maybe I'm not picky enough.
